A shed on a hill

Dave and Marilyn needed a shed for a large boat. They had a lovely flat house block way up on a hill overlooking the ocean. Getting the design right and satisfying engineering requirements was a major task in this project. All our projects are site specific which means the shed has to be able to withstand the elements in the exact position it is built. The height of the hill, the lack of shielding meant this shed had to be strong, much stronger than if it were built in a densely populated town.

In consultation with the clients we tried varying designs (gable and skillion) in an effort to match engineering requirements with client requirements. My wife and I visited the site on several occasions as did our concreter to make sure Dave, Marilyn and Bundy Sheds understood the project. Eventually a design which satisfied all concerned emerged and the project progressed without any issues. Our aim at Bundy Sheds is to deliver a project which meets the expectations of the client not to take shortcuts or make false promises.
